Located in South End, Dilworth and Sedgefield, The Edge, The Brinkley, The Lexington Dilworth, Sedgefield and Elmhurst at Sedgefield are all served by Dilworth Elementary, Sedgefield Middle and Myers Park High School. In the nearby Myers Park neighborhood, Queens at Granville, Providence Flats and Providence Altondale are zoned for Eastover Elementary, Sedgefield Middle and Myers Park High School. Park Place in the Montford Park neighborhood is zoned for Selwyn Elementary, Alexander Graham Middle and Myers Park High School, all adjacent to each other on a central campus off Runnymede Lane and Colony Road.
In South Charlotte, Strawberry Hill, near Providence and Fairview in the SouthPark neighborhood, is zoned for Lansdowne Elementary, McClintock Middle and East Mecklenburg High School. Marsh communities are also conveniently located near some of the area’s top private schools, some with religious affiliations and others without. In the SouthPark area you’ll find Providence Day School, Charlotte Country Day School, Charlotte Preparatory School, The Fletcher School and Charlotte Christian School. Farther south near Providence Park are Charlotte Latin School, Carmel Christian School and Covenant Day School.
Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools offers several elementary schools including St. Gabriel in Cotswold, St. Ann and St. Patrick in Dilworth and St. Matthew in Ballantyne, as well as Holy Trinity Middle School in Dilworth and Charlotte Catholic High School in South Charlotte. Trinity Episcopal School in Uptown serves grades K-8.

Colleges and Universities
Charlotte offers a wide range of higher education options as well, and many Marsh communities are conveniently located near many of them.
Less than a mile from Providence Flats, Queens University provides a beautiful campus experience in the heart of the Myers Park neighborhood. The private university of about 1,900 students was established in 1857 and provides undergraduate and graduate programs, including the McColl School of Business.
In the nearby Elizabeth neighborhood, Central Piedmont Community College serves more than 40,000 students with 300 programs of study. CPCC also provides six additional campuses throughout the Charlotte metro area.
The Wake Forest University School of Medicine is opening its Charlotte campus in 2025 on a 20-acre site in Midtown as the city’s first four-year medical school.
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, on a 1,000-acre campus in northeast Charlotte, has grown rapidly in recent years, now serving 30,000 students in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. UNC Charlotte also offers a Center City Campus in Uptown Charlotte.
